Both pics taken at the same time of year on almost the exact same stretch of water - the Ardnacrusha hydro electric dams headrace canal. The 1st pics was taken an a dreary July day in 2005, but the 2nd pic was taken on a beautiful day in July 2006. On both occaisions we were heading for Dingle, hence the radar arch down for the abbey river bridges in Limerick
